Johnford UMC-730T 5-axis universal machining center

The Johnford UMC-730T combines high-speed, high-accuracy 5-axis machining with turning capabilities for complex, multi-task parts. Its rigid double-column construction, precision linear guideways, and direct-drive trunnion table provide the stability and accuracy required for demanding simultaneous 5-axis and mill-turn applications.

Designed for both speed and precision, the UMC-730T features high rapid traverse rates, a powerful high-speed integral spindle, and direct-drive torque motors on the tilt and rotary axes. The no-backlash trunnion table delivers exceptional positioning accuracy while supporting high-speed rotation for reduced cycle times and efficient multi-operation machining.

A compact, ergonomic design incorporates efficient chip evacuation and a floor-mounted 40-tool automatic tool changer for easy access and maintenance. A Siemens 840D control comes standard, supporting simultaneous 5-axis machining, mill-turn functionality, conversational programming, and high-speed machining capabilities.
