Johnford SL Series 45-degree slant bed turning center

The Johnford SL Series of heavy-duty horizontal turning centers is designed for rigid, accurate performance across a wide range of turning applications. A 45° slant-bed torque-tube design and Meehanite cast-iron construction provide exceptional rigidity, heat dissipation, and long-term stability.

Built for heavy-duty turning, the SL Series features rigid box ways, powerful geared spindles, and a thermally stable design that helps maintain precision during demanding production. Fanuc CNC controls, a complete coolant system, programmable hydraulic tailstock, and 12-station servo turret are standard.

Available live tooling, C-axis, Y-axis, sub-spindle, and tool presetting options allow the SL Series to be configured for applications ranging from conventional turning to more complex milling and multi-axis operations.
