Johnford SDMC Series sliding double-column machining center

The Johnford SDMC Series of heavy-duty sliding double-column machining centers combines a moving-column design with a fixed table, accommodating exceptionally heavy table loads. The six-machine series can be configured to meet a wide range of large-part production requirements.

Built from rigid Meehanite cast-iron, the SDMC Series features a rugged bridge and heavily supported headstock designed for stability, accuracy, and long-term performance. Precision linear ways and advanced X-axis drive systems provide accurate positioning while minimizing vibration across extended travels.

The SDMC Series features a powerful geared spindle and 40-tool automatic tool changer, with additional capabilities and configurations available to meet specific machining requirements.
