Johnford LC Series large flat bed CNC lathe

The Johnford LC Series of large, heavy-duty flat-bed CNC turning centers is designed for high-precision machining of long and oversized workpieces. With a wide range of machine sizes, spindle configurations, and tooling options, the LC Series can be tailored to demanding production requirements.

A rigid one-piece Meehanite cast-iron bed provides stability, operator accessibility, and efficient chip flow, while the three-way bed design supports versatile machining configurations. The Z-axis drive system is engineered to minimize vibration and maintain accuracy across the machine’s extended travel.

Standard features include a 12-tool vertical turret, comprehensive coolant system, hydraulic chuck, dual chip conveyors, programmable tailstock, and safety guarding. Optional C-axis, Y-axis, alternate turret, and tooling configurations provide additional flexibility for specialized applications.
