Johnford HT Series twin-turret slant bed turning center

The Johnford HT Series of twin-turret horizontal slant-bed turning centers combines heavy-duty construction, precision, and production flexibility. A one-piece, 45° slant-bed torque-tube design and rigid Meehanite cast-iron construction provide excellent rigidity, heat dissipation, and long-term accuracy.

Twin 12-tool turrets are standard across the series, while rigid box ways, precision ballscrews, and robust spindle configurations support accurate, heavy-duty turning. The headstock, tailstock, and saddle are mounted on the same 45° plane to enhance precision and thermal stability.

Standard features include a chip conveyor and programmable hydraulic tailstock. Available C-axis, Y-axis, sub-spindle, live tooling, high-power spindle, and tool presetting options allow the HT Series to be tailored to specific production requirements.
