Johnford GT Series horizontal slant bed turning center

The Johnford GT Series includes eight large, heavy-duty horizontal slant-bed turning centers designed for demanding machining applications. A one-piece, 45° slant-bed torque-tube design and rigid Meehanite cast-iron construction provide exceptional rigidity, heat dissipation, and long-term accuracy.

Built for heavy-duty turning, the GT Series features rigid box ways, precision ballscrews, and powerful spindle configurations to deliver accurate, stable performance across a wide range of large-part applications.

Standard features include a 12-tool turret, 3-jaw chuck, and programmable hydraulic tailstock. A variety of available options—including C-axis capabilities, live tooling, high-pressure coolant, larger chucks, and tool presetting systems—allow each machine to be configured for specific production needs.
