Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced CAD- Cam Trainer with a strong background in engineering and delivery training. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 12 years of total industry experience, including at least 5 years in a relevant industry and 5 years in training roles. This role demands technical expertise, strong domain knowledge, and proven experience in training delivery, content development, and ToT (Training of Trainers) programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Development: Design and develop high-quality technical training materials, including manuals, microlearning modules, and digital resources.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct classroom sessions, hands-on workshops, and one-on-one coaching across various technical topics.
  • ToT Programs: Design and deliver Training Trainers programs to build internal trainer capabilities.
  • Module Creation: Develop micro-modules and e-learning content to support continuous learning and skill enhancement.
  • Best Practices: Identify, document, and promote best practices in technical training and skill development.
  • Workshop Management: Organize and lead interactive workshops and on-site training events.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements to enhance learning outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 12 years of total professional experience, including:
  • 5+ years in a relevant technical industry
  • 5+ years in a technical training role
  • Strong domain expertise in machine tools, automation, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Prior experience in ToT (Training of Trainers) programs is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Attributes

  • Certification in Training & Development or Instructional Design.
  • Experience with digital learning platforms and content authoring tools.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and geographies.

Work Location

Phillips Machine Tools – Haridwar, Uttarakhand
(On-site role with occasional travel as per project/training requirements)
